If you want a smooth mild garlic, this variety is for you. Novice is a large bulb that grows up to a super-colossal grade with good growing conditions. It matures mid-season and grows 8-10 easy-to-peel cloves. It stores will in milder climates. Novice garlic makes for good eating greens. Ideal, among other culinary uses, for introducing to your non-garlic eating friends as a starter!
